Artrageous is designed to showcase local talent and the many extraordinary businesses on Clark Street in Lincoln Park, and our goal is to attract art enthusiasts to celebrate spring at this vibrant community event. The art element features a juried competition and public voting of works on display. Download an application at VisitClarkStreet.com and submit it by February 20, 2013.Artrageous, a multi-dimensional event designed to showcase talented local artists, neighborhood restaurants and the many extraordinary businesses on Clark Street in Lincoln Park. This free event attracts art enthusiasts to view displays, tour the neighborhood and celebrate spring on Clark Street with fellow Lincoln Park visitors and residents.The Clark Street in Lincoln Park neighborhood will be transformed into a vibrant art exhibition with competing art displays, pop-up galleries, retailer presentations, and a walking tour to visit locations of historical significance. The viewing public will receive a punch card and walking map that enables visitors the opportunity to win some great prizes and vote for their favorite piece online at VisitClarkStreet.com.

Art goes on display at noon on April 19 and the public is invited to meet the artists on Saturday, April 20from 2 – 5 PM at the display locations.Artrageous is hosted by Clark Street in Lincoln Park and the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce.

NAWBO Chicago’s 30th Annual Achievement Luncheon

Ribfest Chicago 2013

Ribfest Chicago celebrates its fifteenth anniversary this year and we couldn’t be more excited. From humble beginnings in a local parking lot, Ribfest relocated to Lincoln Avenue and eventually grew from three blocks to five blocks, from a two-day event to a three-night party, and from 5,000 attendees to 55,000 fans. The BBQ component has grown from five local restaurants to fifteen rib vendors and fifteen non-rib vendors, while the quality of live entertainment has made Ribfest Chicago a nationally-recognized music festival that hosts top local and touring bands.

Six Corners BBQ Fest

The festival benefits the arts and education directly within in the community, and features live music, BBQ-style food from a variety of restaurants and a market vendor area. Kids Corner features games, inflatables and a stage providing entertainment for the whole family.

Lincoln Avenue between Montrose and WilsonSquare Roots isn’t your typical food and music festival; we tap into all that Lincoln Square has to offer to provide a multidimensional event that appeals to music, food and craft beer enthusiasts. Live entertainment: More than 35 acts including music, jams, dance and family activities on 4 stages (2 indoor and 2 outdoor).
